Deuteronomy 32:4
The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.
God is the rock of our salvation. Our confidence is never in ourselves but in who God is. He cannot be moved, and nothing can deter Him. All things are done by His will, and nothing can come against Him.
His work is perfect and flawless. Though we see a dim portion, we will one day see it fully in its perfection. All of His workings are perfect, and there is nothing outside of His sovereign grace that is not working together for His glory and His people’s good.
There is not one thing to be said against the Lord, for all of His ways are just and righteous. For what does man deserve but death? But God is rich in mercy because of the great love with which He loved us. Even while we were dead in our trespasses, He made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved through faith.
The Lord is faithful and His faithfulness is without error. We are to run to the Lord in all things. We are to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for His people. Though we are tempted to look to our circumstances for our identity and purpose, they all become corruptible idols. Let us turn our eyes to the Lord and seek the rock of our salvation.

Father, You are the Rock. What hope and peace there is in that. So many times my flesh deceives me and makes me think my identity is in my circumstances rather than in who You are. You are in heaven and I am on earth. You sent Your Son into the world so that I may know You and spend all eternity with You. Forgive my unbelief and open my eyes and my heart to rest in the truth of who You are. In Christ’s name I ask this. Amen
