Luke 12:2
Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
The foolishness of many and the depravity of their hearts is to deny the omniscience and sovereignty of God. Our hearts, apart from the grace of God, feverishly work to deceive and keep us from a holy God.
Yet, we must know that all sin is apparent before the Lord. For even darkness is not dark to the Lord; to Him, it is as bright as the day. We cannot hide our sin; our Lord and Savior has said all our sin will be made known.
Let us not harden our hearts, but go to the Lord and confess, for there is nothing that is too great, too deep, too depraved that His mercy will not cover. There is no sin that the cross of Christ cannot overcome, but let us make haste, for the time is now!
The devil has been defeated, and we are in Christ, so let us seek Him and let us live victoriously in repentance and for His glory. Let us turn and walk in the light of His truth for the glory and the honor of Christ. Sin crouches at the door of our thoughts, in our words, and in our actions, and even now it plots to deceive us and deny our King, but we are free through Christ by the power of His Word to live in spirit and in truth.
Psalm 139:12
Father, You know all things. You know my heart. You have saved it and have brought me to a saving grace with You. Lord, so many times I’ve willed my heart to live in unbelief. Forgive me and renew a right spirit within me. Bless me in walking in Your truth that I may know You and make You known. Restore to me an intimacy of the fear of You, and embolden and bless my steps for Your glory. I ask this in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
