Deuteronomy 30:14

But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.

  1. God is near, and He has written His Word upon our hearts. He has removed the heart of stone and has given us a heart of flesh that is engraved with His Word and His commands.

  2. All of humanity knows the truth of God. Those who claim they do not know the truth of God are lying and are suppressing the truth— and God’s wrath burns against them. All of creation declares the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands! We must plead with God that His Word be present in our hearts and minds.

  3. Let us come to the Lord humbly and meditate on it day and night. Let us seek the Lord while He may be found and call upon Him for mercy and grace. For the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

  4. The glorious promise is true in every aspect of our lives, for we can look to the Lord and call upon Him, and by the power of His Holy Spirit, He will bring to our minds His precious Word, that we may reflect our Lord and Savior. Christ is our aim; Christ is our King; Christ is our Savior.

Ezekiel 11:19, Romans 1:18, Psalm 19:1, Psalm 1:2, Isaiah 55:6, Psalm 34:18

Lord, Your promises are glorious. Here, You have spoken that Your Word is near; it is in our mouths and hearts. Lord, I have so many times supposed Your Word and denied Your truth and placed my own truth in my heart and mind. Forgive me and have mercy on me. Let the objective truth of Your Word lead me and guide me in all that I do, that You alone receive all the praise, glory, and honor. In Jesus’ most precious name I ask this. Amen
